Dental Work at Macha:
Six months ago, Macha Hospital had only the equipment for tooth extractions. Because of the generosity of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Macha now has dental chairs and drills for restorative dental work. Mubanga, the dentist at Macha, (pictured at right) is now in the process of working with the staff at Macha to set up the dental clinic and begin work. This page will keep you updated on the progress of the dental clinic.

Special Thanks:

Dr. David Paul, Carol Marshall, Steve Witkus, Bob Aronson, Janet Markell, Jim Harrison, and the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Your gifts will change the lives of thousands of people at Macha who, without your help, would not have had any dental care beyond tooth extractions. The line of over fifty people waiting for care on Dr. Paul's first day is a testimony to the need that you have helped to meet.
