Nutritional Support:

Protein-Calorie Malnutrition is still a leading cause of death among infants at Macha, even though great strides have been made treating it. I know that this is something that we don't like to think about much if at all, but for these children there is no opportunity to look away, even for a moment. You can change these pictures by changing their lives with your donation.

Essential for HIV Treatment

Adequate food and protein reduces the number of opportunistic infections in AIDS patients and increases their lifespan. It is an essential part of any HIV treatment program.

Seed Distribution:

HelpMercy is happy to report that the seed distritubion project (see top left photo) was a success and major help to the mulnurished and HIV/AIDS patients that benefited from the project. HelpMercy distributed seeds prior to the planting season in the area of Macha to patients that needed the support. By the harvest time, families on the program had good yeilds and enough food. Your continued support for the Nutrition Project continues to provide adequate food to patients in Macha.
